Meeting at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 13:00. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, departure to Narita with Turkish Airlines flight TK 50 at 15:50. Overnight onboard.
Arrival at Narita Airport at 09:05 local time. We transfer to Tokyo by private coach and begin our tour. Our first stop is the famous Shinjuku Gyoen Park, known for its Sakura trees and three distinct gardens. We will stroll through the park and take photographs of the cherry blossoms. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit the stylish Harajuku Street. Evening check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Tokyo.
Today, we begin with a visit to TeamLab Planets, an immersive digital art gallery. Afterward, lunch and free time for electronics shopping in Akihabara. In the afternoon, transfer to Tokyo’s most famous shopping district, Ginza, for more free time. Dinner at a special restaurant, followed by a walk at the famous Shibuya Crossing. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we’ll visit Meiji Shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shōken, located within a forest of 365 tree species. Around the shrine, we’ll see many amulets believed to bring health, love, and happiness. Next, we’ll head to Yoyogi Park, often called Tokyo’s Central Park. Then we visit Sensoji Temple (Asakusa), Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple, known for its iconic gate and vibrant architecture. According to legend, two brothers found a statue of the Goddess Kannon while fishing, returned it to the river multiple times, but it always came back to them—leading to the temple’s construction. You’ll have free time around the temple to shop for souvenirs. Return to the hotel for overnight.
After breakfast and check-out, we take a Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto (approx. 2.5 hours). Upon arrival, we visit the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and Temple, then continue to Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion). After lunch, free time in the historic Gion district. Dinner will be at a traditional Japanese restaurant with a Maiko (Geisha apprentice) performance. Overnight at the hotel.
Today, we explore Kyoto—Japan’s spiritual and cultural heart. Locals often wear traditional garments, and we’ll participate in a Japanese tea ceremony wearing Kimonos. We then visit Kiyomizu-Dera Temple, the Imperial Palace, and Fushimi Inari Shrine. Free time for shopping in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast and check-out, transfer to the train station for a Shinkansen ride to Hiroshima (approx. 2 hours). In Hiroshima, we’ll visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum, a UNESCO site commemorating the victims of the atomic bomb. Then we continue to Miyajima Island, known for the floating Torii Gate and the Itsukushima Shrine, both built over the water. After the visit, transfer to Osaka via high-speed train. Dinner and overnight in Osaka.
After breakfast, we travel to Nara, one of Japan’s ancient capitals and a cradle of Japanese arts and culture. We’ll visit Todaiji Temple, home to the world’s largest wooden building and one of Japan’s largest bronze Buddha statues. Then visit Kasuga Taisha Shrine, famous for its stone and bronze lanterns. We’ll also feed and photograph the friendly deer in Nara Park. In the afternoon, return to Osaka and visit the Osaka Castle, originally built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, reconstructed in the 1620s, and now fully modernized. Overnight in Osaka.
After breakfast, free time for shopping, especially on the famous Dotonbori Street with its hundreds of shops offering everything from clothing and electronics to local goods. In the late afternoon, meeting at the hotel and transfer to the airport. After check-in, passport, and baggage procedures, departure to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines flight TK 87 at 22:25. Overnight onboard.
