Meeting at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 23:00 (on the night of April 1, 2026). After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Osaka at 02:10 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 86. Upon arrival at Osaka Airport at 19:00 local time, we transfer to our hotel by private bus. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Nara, one of Japan’s ancient capitals and the cradle of Japanese art, crafts, literature, and culture. We visit Todaiji Temple, built in 752 as the head temple of all Buddhist temples in Japan, home to one of Japan’s largest bronze Buddha statues and the world’s largest wooden building. Then we explore Kasuga Grand Shrine, one of Nara’s most iconic temples, known for its bronze and stone lanterns donated by worshippers. We’ll also feed and take photos with the freely roaming deer in Nara Park. After lunch at a local restaurant, we return to Osaka and tour the Umeda area. Free time in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we start our Osaka tour with a visit to Osaka Castle, originally built between 1585–1598 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi to unify Japan. Once one of Japan’s largest castles, it was reconstructed in the 1620s after being destroyed. Its modern interior and beautiful gardens will fascinate you. We then head to the famous Dotonbori Street for free time and shopping opportunities. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast and checkout, we transfer to the train station for our Shinkansen (bullet train) ride to Hiroshima. After approximately two hours, we arrive in Hiroshima, a city destroyed by the world’s first atomic bomb in WWII. We visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then we travel to Miyajima Island, known as “Shrine Island,” famous for the Itsukushima Shrine and its iconic floating Torii Gate. After our tour, we take the Shinkansen to Kyoto. Upon arrival, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we explore Kyoto, the cultural heart of Japan. In this traditional city, you may see locals wearing kimonos. We’ll join a traditional tea ceremony and visit the iconic Kiyomizu-Dera Temple. After lunch, we explore the Imperial Palace and the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine with its red Torii gates. Free time in the late afternoon. In the evening, we’ll enjoy dinner at a traditional Japanese restaurant with a Maiko (Geisha apprentice) performance. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we visit Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and its surrounding temples, followed by a tour of the stunning Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji). We then offer free time in the Gion district. In the evening, we transfer to the station and take the Shinkansen to Tokyo (approx. 2.5 hours). Arrival, transfer to hotel, dinner, and overnight.
After breakfast, we begin with a visit to Meiji Shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shōken, surrounded by a forest of 365 tree species. Then we walk through Yoyogi Park, one of Tokyo’s largest green spaces. We continue to Asakusa’s Sensoji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple, and learn the legend of the Kannon statue. After free time for local shopping, we visit Harajuku Street, known for its trendy shops. Dinner at a special restaurant, followed by a walk through the famous Shibuya Crossing. Overnight at the hotel.
We begin our day at Shinjuku Gyoen Park, famous for its cherry blossoms and three distinct garden styles. After enjoying the Sakura scenery, we head to Akihabara for electronics shopping and have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we visit the digital art wonderland TeamLab Planets. We end the day with free time in Ginza, Tokyo’s upscale shopping district. Return to hotel in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.
Free day for last-minute shopping or personal exploration after breakfast. In the evening, we regroup at the hotel and transfer to Haneda Airport. After completing check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul at 21:45 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 199. Overnight on board.
