After breakfast, we explore Vietnam’s largest and most vibrant city. Blending past and present, Ho Chi Minh City offers a unique charm. We visit iconic landmarks: the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, City Hall, and the Opera House. Later, we explore Ben Thanh Market for an authentic shopping experience. Culinary highlights today include a traditional Pho soup from a spot once visited by President Bill Clinton, rich Vietnamese coffee, and a fusion dinner of Chinese-Japanese cuisine. After breakfast and hotel checkout, we transfer to the airport and fly to Siem Reap on flight K6 825 (13:40–15:10). Upon arrival, we transfer to the hotel. In the evening, we take a fun tuk-tuk ride to a stylish restaurant serving the finest of Cambodian cuisine. Overnight in our hotel.
Today we explore the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park. Entering via the grand South Gate of Angkor Thom, we visit Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King, and the enigmatic Bayon Temple with its smiling stone faces. Next is the Ta Prohm Temple, where giant tree roots entangle ancient ruins. After lunch, we visit the iconic Angkor Wat, dedicated to Vishnu by King Suryavarman II in the 12th century. At sunset, we board a traditional gondola in the Western Baray area, enjoying the view with wine or champagne. Optional evening stroll in vibrant Pub Street. Overnight in our hotel.
After breakfast, we head to Tonle Sap Lake, beginning with a walk in Pour Krom village, followed by a boat tour through floating villages of Chong Kneas. After lunch in the city, we fly on VN 930 (17:20–18:45) to Luang Prabang, Laos. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel and end the day with a stroll through the colorful night market. Overnight in our hotel.
After breakfast, we visit the Royal Palace Museum and the city’s most prominent temples: Wat Visoun, Wat Xiengthong, Wat Sene, and Wat Mai. After lunch, we head to the stunning Khouang Si Waterfalls. En route, we stop in Ban Ouay, Ban Ou, and Ban Thapene villages to observe Hmong, Lao Lum, and Khmu cultures. After a rest at the hotel, we enjoy dinner at a traditional Laos restaurant. At dawn, we witness the sacred alms-giving ceremony where saffron-robed monks collect food. After breakfast, we cruise the Mekong River, stopping at Ban Xanghai to see local Lao Lao rice whisky production and continue to the mystical Pak Ou Caves filled with miniature Buddhas. After lunch, we transfer to the airport for flight QV 313 to Hanoi (17:20–18:30). Arrival, hotel check-in, and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in our hotel.
After breakfast, we begin with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, then visit the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. After lunch, we explore the Old Quarter with a nostalgic rickshaw ride and visit the famous Train Street. Free time for the rest of the day, followed by dinner featuring Northern Vietnamese cuisine. Overnight in our hotel.
After checkout, we travel to Halong Bay, one of Vietnam’s natural wonders. Boarding a luxury cruise, we explore the magical scenery, enjoy onboard activities, and dine on fresh seafood. Overnight on the boat.
We begin the day with a Tai Chi session on deck, followed by brunch as we sail back to port. On return to Hanoi, we visit Train Street once more. Then transfer to the airport for our Turkish Airlines flight TK 165 at 23:05.
